AmpliVision App Reviews

Tiny type embiggened

Works great for tiny type and checking for dirt under fingernails. You can also turn the camera around and look over your shoulder. Image is nice and clear.

Not worth the download

Its far easier to use the default camera app to take a pic then zoom in on whatever you need to see. Do your iPhone a favor and uninstall unnecessary apps like this.

Add left handed control

Good App, but please add Add left handed control as part of settings.

Works Great!

Helps my old tired eyes in those dimly lit restaurants.

Great app

Please provide this to all seniors who have IPhones and iPads. This will stop the frustration when looking for important info on the pill bottles.

More Uses Than Expected

I got this app out of curiosity, and find myself using it more than I expected. It works great for reading needlepoint patterns.

Not for me

Difficult to focus on object. Blurs as I move it to read.

Has potential

Magnification works, interface is gratifyingly simple. Improvement needed is to have image right-side up. The iPods camera does that with the built in photo app, so it shouldnt be too challenging to have this app do the same. Improvement that would be nice would be image stabilization.

No longer works!

Used to work good. However it no longer works.

No longer works

It used to be my favorite app. as it amplified even the tiniest print. I used it as a magnifying glass as it worked better than zooming in on the phones camera. However updating to iOS 9 has caused the app. to do nothing upon opening. And tapping on the screen causes it to crash. I would rate it a zero if I could. Sad to see it go!

Quit and relaunch to get app to work

This has been my faithful magnifying app for reading fine print. Love this app. If the developers are still updating this app it could use fixing the first launch bug on iPhone6S+ where you have to quit and relaunch app when it decides not to show camera feed. Add option to freeze frame for shake my hands and high zoom.
